Our Upper School students fulfill a Service Learning requirement of 200 hours by the time they graduate. Our Wednesday electives and internships provide multiple opportunities for students to make meaningful connections with the community and enhance their understanding of the benefits of a purposeful civic life. Students can choose to volunteer with local non-profit organizations or engage in independent or group activities that benefit the school or local community. Students plan, implement and evaluate Service Learning projects, which provide them with a sense of ownership and empowerment.
