The Lower School offers kinder-5th grade students a nurturing, multi-age learning environment where each child receives careful attention to their individual learning style. Our programs and facilitators focus on a child-centered, hands-on curriculum that allows students to participate in meaningful activities designed to facilitate the development of values, self-esteem, and a respect for themselves and others. Our workshop format in reading, writing and mathematics allows authentic engagement, promotes intellectual development and fosters a love of learning. The Lower School staff includes specialists in art, dance, music, sciences, physical education and Spanish language.
