AMR visited the K/1 classroom last week as part of their Community Helpers unit! Diego, a GSA alumnus, and his partner showed students inside of their ambulance. Students were excited to see all of the medical equipment and asked very good questions! They went over the importance of knowing your address and when we should dial 9-1-1. They assured students that they are always here to help if anyone needs it. It was great having a former Comet in the classroom, reminding students to work hard in school and follow their dreams!
