Last weekend, the Middle and High School robotics teams attended the 2018 Botball Workshop for the greater Los Angeles region.
At the workshop, team members got to open up their robotics kits for the year and practice building and programming robots. This knowledge will be used for the Botball competition on April 28th where teams will run their robots on a table with moveable items and obstacles and compete to score the most points.
Garden Street Academy has high stakes in this tournament as last year the High School team took home first prize and the Middle School team took home fifth.
Check out a couple of our students playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with one of their robots.
And here are a few more photos of our students at the workshop.
